The Family Wellness Practice was established as a mental health clinic by founder and director, Dr Kiran Nijabat in 2016. The clinic has evolved as Dr Kiran has gained more insights into the growing needs of the families and professionals she works with.

 

Dr Kiran Nijabat has 14 years experience of working in the field of mental health, and has carefully selected a team of leading professionals in the field of psychological interventions, psychiatry, and personal change to support you and your child.

The Practice is unique; in addition to our general mental health clinic, we also offer the following services:

• Specialist Neurodiversity gold standard assessment clinics nationwide in partnership with Moon Hall Assessment Centre 

• Training and consultancy services offering CPD accredited mental health related courses to professionals, parents, schools and other organisations 

• Wellbeing Retreats for professionals and parents/ individuals and groups 

• Developing a specialist therapeutic school and farm with a range of treatments for children with neurodiversity.

Our team have delivered bespoke mental health training to over 5000 staff across various sectors including schools, colleges, nurseries, universities, orphanages, residential homes, charities, places of worship and hospital staff. We have recently delivered wellbeing training to professionals including train the trainer packages in the UK, Pakistan, Maldives, Dubai and Qatar.

In November 2020, we delivered mental health awareness and wellbeing webinars to over 500 staff working on Barnardo’s See, hear, respond campaign which aimed at responding to vulnerable children and families affected by Covid.

In 2021, we were chosen as the exclusive gold supplier for mental health training/counselling in schools by ISA.(Independent Schools Association.)

In 2022, We have worked in partnership with Moon Hall School to provide exclusive specialist neurodiversity assessments to the local area and this clinic has now expanded nationally.
